Objective: Students will play a 1 octave scale of their choosing in a round with four groups

keeping a steady beat and staying together.

Procedure:
● Class chooses a scale to play and discuss any accidentals
● Class plays scale together in quarter notes repeating the top note
○ Drumset plays rock pattern or something else in 4/4
● Class plays scale together in eighth notes
● Class plays scale in quarter notes in 4 groups in a round (bassist in first group)
● Class plays scale in eighth notes in 4 group round
● Depending on time: Class chooses new scale and plays it in thirds in quarter notes
● Class plays thirds in 2 part round

Assessment: Were students able to play scale/thirds accurately and in time
