The article is dedicated to the visit of British Prime Minister Johnson and Polish
Prime Minister Morawiecki in Kyiv, which took place 01.02.2022 where the leaders
expressed their support to Ukraine. On the same day, it became known about plans to
create a "small alliance" of Kyiv, London and Warsaw.
Johnson also declared that Russia's new aggression against Ukraine was unacceptable
and threatened Moscow with new tough sanctions that would be imposed as soon as
the Russian army crosses the Ukrainian border.
At the same time, he explained that these measures are aimed at persuading the
Kremlin to diplomacy. He also said that Kyiv would receive an additional 88 million
pounds to strengthen Ukraine's energy independence. Polish Prime Minister Mateusz
Morawiecki spoke about helping Ukraine with weapons as well.
The President of Ukraine appreciated Britain's help. "This is 1.7 billion pounds in
support of the Ukrainian Navy, the construction of modern naval bases, a package of
security assistance and weapons".
