Activity 1 – Creating an Art


Directions: Choose a subject and draw using acrylic color or water color to the 1/8

Activity 2 – Reflection Paper


Directions: Write the meaning and reflection of your artwork to your personal life. See
rubrics on page ________________ and submit your work on our google class.
 It was dark but it also has white background. A white that has started to
turn to gray. For me, my art was beautiful. If you don’t look at it carefully
or for more than 3 second, you haven’t saw how messy it is. And the art
has no different to my personal life because for me, this art describe my
journey.

Activity 3 – Sharing the Art


Directions: choose a work of art for observation and analysis. Identify its composition.
Subject matter is it representational or non-representational? What is its form? What
does it communicate to you? Identify the medium used and the technique of the artist.

Activity 4 – Mastery Test
Directions: Write the correct answer to the blank before the number.
Subject in art 1. In art, this refers to the thing, object, persons, landscape,
events, and etc.
Nature 2. This subject deals with the physical environment- the
natural world. Landscapes are part of it.
Human Figures 3. A whole human figure or just a part of it can represent the
self.
Still life 4. It refers to in-animating objects either in a form of a
drawing, painting or photograph.
Religious and mythological 5. These are subject that are practiced by religious and tribal
groups.
Dreams and fantasies 6. Refer to the subject that are inspired by the subconscious
mind as discovered by Sigmund Freud.
History and legends 7. This is a kind of subject that is inspired by history or
legends.
Animals 8. This is another kind of subject that is commonly used in
any art forms.
Natural landscape 9. It is a land formation that is never modified and distorted.
Cityscapes 10. It refers to anything that composes the scene of the city,
such as buildings, roads and etc.
