App Annie ( now Dataai ) is an app & market analytics platform which provides data & insights
across all the steps in a product lifecycle. They are very close to Nielsen IQ or Gartner when one
compares their their core o ering, which is market research/intelligence.

The following are their product o erings

1) Market insights

App Annie provides market intelligence across geographies and app categories. This includes
market trends, revenues, downloads, user engagement metrics like average usage time etc for
major market participants.This can help companies launch new products by identifying trends,
launch new features etc.

2) Advertising insights & aggregation



There are multiple tools that are used in a modern day advertising department, these can
include CRM tools like Salesforce, mail automation tolls like Mailchimp etc. App Annie
aggregates all data from ad tools and provides powerful visualisation tools to showcase
insights. Along with this App Annie also provides tools to rank better on app stores like
keywords used by competitors, ad costs, related apps etc.

3) App analytics
