Microsoft Edge
1. Edit settings in Microsoft Edge
a. Open Settings (click on 3 dots next to name in upper right); Settings is selection near bottom)
b. Click on Site Permissions – PDF documents (you need to page down to find it) – toggle “Always open PDF files
externally” to on
f. Scroll down and find .pdf (PDF File), and click the button on the right side, which is likely to read "Microsoft
Edge."
g. Select your Adobe Reader or Pro from the list to set it as the new default.
3. Once you completed the steps, Microsoft Edge will no longer open PDF files by default in the web browser.
