PAST SIMPLE - We use Past Simple to talk about past tense events. - Verbs change in Past Tense. They are classified in 2
groups: Regular and Irregular Verbs.
REGULAR VERBS:
These verbs need a D, ED or IED ending.
Example:
Sarah danced salsa and merengue last night.
Johnny worked in the supermarket in 2010. My friends studied Science last weekend. Lucy visited her grandma last month. Peter travelled to Piura with his parents. My cat played with his ball in the park. My parents cooked Italian food last night. IRREGULAR VERBS:
These verbs can change a letter, two or more.
Example:
Sarah ate a delicious pizza with her family.
The teachers bought new stickers for the students. Lalo broke the windows accidentally. Ben forgot the walkie-talkie in the cave. Susan ran in the marathon and won the first place. My dog drank milk when it was a baby. My parents gave me a big present for my birthday.
