Financial Assistance to the Students under

Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Scheme
for the Academic Year 2021-22
GGSIP University is offering financial assistance to the students of Economically Weaker Section
(EWS) wide letter no. F.No.GGSIPU/DSW/EWS 2021-22/ dated 09-05-2022.
ELIGIBILITY:
1. The Income of parents from all sources should be less than Rs.2,50,000/-.
2. Valid Income Certificate is to be issued by SDM.
3. Students admitted through Management Quota are Not Eligible.
4. For 2nd/3rd/4th/5th Year: Students with back papers are Not Eligible.
5. Students penalized by the University/Institute for any act of discipline during the course are
Not Eligible.
6. Students detained in any semester exam are Not Eligible.

PROCEDURE:
1. Apply online at the University portal http://ipu.ac.in/dsw_ews.php. No column should be left
blank.
2. Upload scanned photograph and cancelled cheque of account on the name of student.
3. Take the printout of the application and submit it to Room No.-106 with the following self
attested documents.
i. Duly filled online application form.
ii. Valid Income Certificate issued by SDM.
iii. An affidavit in prescribed format attested by Public Notary.
iv. The University Admission Slip / Seat Allotment Letter.
v. Marksheets of all previous academic qualifications from class X.
vi. Copy of latest fee receipts issued by University/Institute.
vii. Copy of Aadhar Card. Account of student is to be Aadhar seeded.
viii. Copy of passbook and cancelled cheque.

 Secure the user ID and password. “Forgot Password Facility is not available”
on the portal.
 Last date of online application by the student at the portal is 31.05.2022.
 Last date to submit hardcopy of the application alongwith documents
mentioned above is 03.06.2022.
