Objective: the purpose of this lesson plan is to teach the students about the categories of student
disabilities with the focus on the main core categories in teaching that include physical, behavioral/
emotional, sensory impairment and developmental disabilities. Student will learn and understanding
through the handout, videos, the definition and examples.

Materials/equipment: the handout, PowerPoint and the answer key
