1. Why is Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) important? (in 2 to 3 sentences)

The importance of RTM shows in the development of quality software. It is an essential part in

creating a software because this is where we can test the different scenarios the software may

under go and record those results. Based on the recorded results, the software developers can see

what aspects of their software needs to be changed or edited to suit the needs of the

user/customer.

2. Explain: "Testing can show presence of errors but not their absence." (in 2 to 3 sentence)

The statement above means that testing is a process that allows the developers to find errors

within their software but that doesn’t mean that, once they fix those errors, there software would

be free from errors. These tests are done to validate and verify that the functionality required by

the user works correctly. Thus, testing only shows the presence of the errors when the developers

look for them but it doesn’t clear the fact all errors are removed.
