WHY GOVERNMENT SHOULD BAN ALCOHOL FROM

MEDIA

Currently we live in an interconnected world where media is one of the

most important tools when giving this connection. Media allow us to
share, exchange and transfer information. However, media is double-
edged sword given the fact that it can be altered so easily and can spread
fake-knows, fragile information and manipulate people.

In this case, we have conducted some research with regards to the

advertisement of alcohol on media since alcohol is considered a drug
according to Spanish Health Minister and its usage should be regulated for
the well-being of the present and future population. According to data,
alcohol provokes 95.000 deaths per year in the United States ranking as
third cause of avoidable death in the same country.
For the impletion of these regulations, State will use its regulatory and
jurisdictional tools for preventing alcohol advertisement to widespread by
the creation of a total ban, partial ban, or shadow ban of alcohol. These
regulations will be implemented by law according to Spanish law and will
have a compulsory character.
By the implementation of this approach, we expect alcohol consumption
to dramatically decrease, what will lead us to a healthier as well as thriver
society.
To sum it up, alcohol is a dangerous substance so its consumption and
propaganda must be regulated. Its banning from media will achieve this
goal, veering this to a social and national improvement.
