Forming molds

• 75 cm x 0.75 cm x 0.10 cm (Length x Width x Height)

• 30 x 30 x 30 cm cube

The molds to be made from ply wood or steel

The mold sides of the mold should be easily be assembled and disassembled. This is to make removing
the blocks easy. Picture below illustrates what I mean.
Mixing materials

• 50 kg grey cement (32.5R)

• 50 kg sand
• 200g Polystrene beads (Strafor boncuk 200g)
• Protective gloves
• Rubber mallet

After the preliminary trials we will decide on chemicals and equipment we can use to improve the
mixture and the mixing process.
