PROJECT: PLANT AND ANIMAL CELLS PURPOSE: To create a model of a cell that illustrates different cell structures, describes their functions, and to differentiate between plant and animal cells. | PART 4: CELL MODEL CHOOSE A CELL: You can pick to make an animal cell or a plant cell. RESEARCH: Find out how your cell looks and its shape. Think about what materials you could use to build it. You may research online or find diagrams in books. CELL STRUCTURE: Start with a base for your cel: cereal box, shoebox, paper plate, construction paper, cardboard, poster board, etc. CELL ORGANELLES: After building the cel structure, find smaller materials to represent each organelle: buttons, beads, noodles, yarn, paper, dry pasta, beens, alter, ete.
