SAFETY ISSUES IN ICT
(SUMMARY/INSIGHT)
In this topic, Mr. Belen discussed the basic issues and possible hazards regarding use of
ICT in school or home. The way on how to avoid that hazard that can cause accident while using
technology is also mentioned. Like don’t eat or drink in front of devices as computers or other
sensitive equipment to avoid incidents of throwing liquids that may cause electric shock to the
user and cause damage to the equipment. Another is octopus charging and unorganized electrical
wires and circuit. Octopus charging can cause shortage and can make fires, the same with
unorganized wires and circuit – it is possible to trip users by that wires and cause accidents than
can possibly cause danger because of electricity or any related things can happen.
This report is very important for every one of us, especially nowadays in which almost
everyone of us are using technology for our studies and work.
