Academic writing means form of writing in which requirement’s of college or university is

fulfilled in form of assessment that they provide and you are expected to write your essay or
research in academic style.

It is same as other type of writing but different in way of content, style, and structure.

It may seem that content writing and academic writing are one in the same but
they are different from each another in several ways which are as follow:-

In academic writing style is well defined in a structured way but in case of

content writing it may vary upon the requirements therefore need not to be
systematic.

2. Sentence:-

In content writing short sentences are ideal which makes it easy to read and
understand but its not in case of academic writing as complex sentences are
often use in this regard.

 Audience in academic writing are universities and instructor and in content
writing audience is people who are looking to buy a particular product.

4. Style and language :-

Academic writing strictly include formal writing there is no way other than that
but in case of content writing language can be casual if the topic demands.

5. Analysis and factual information : -

In academic writing writer is not allowed to put personal view but allowed only if
sustained with relevant arguments but in case of content writing writer is allowed to
be creative and is even allowed to discuss his own view if required.

6. Purpose :-

In academic writing students learn while writing as they must do lots of research but
in case of content writing is more précised with digital promotion that why only to
the point discussion.
