Hi teacher and classmates, today I’m going to talk about how to exercise more

during COVID 19.

It’s important to know that we must keep our distance to stop the spread of
COVID-19 in places where there are many people, but staying active during this
time will help us to maintain our physical and mental health in good conditions.
Doing regular exercise has many benefits, including: reducing the risk of health
conditions like stroke and heart disease, controlling weight, reducing stress and
anxiety, improving sleep. So, I’m going to give you some recommendations to
be healthy:
First, Take short active breaks during the day.You may use the suggested
exercises below as inspiration to be active every day. Dancing, playing with
children, performing domestic chores such as cleaning and gardening or
streching your body for a momento while you are working.
Second, Follow an online exercise class. Take advantage of the wealth of
online exercise classes. Many of these are free and can be found on YouTube.
For example, meditation and deep breaths could be a good option because it
can help you remain calm. Try reducing your sedentary time by standing up
whenever posible. During sedentary leisure time prioritize cognitively stimulating
activities, such as Reading and board games.
To conclude, I would like to emphasize that these recommendations can still be
achieved even at home, with no special equipment and with limited space. Even
10 minutes of movement a day can help your body and mind feel better.
Encourage your loved ones, who you’re no doubt spending a lot of time with
right now, to take a moment to move their bodies too.
