Water bodies plays vital role in today’s life.

India is full of water resources like


river, sea, waterfalls etc. Water bodies are supposed to bring lives but there are
many instance where these water bodies took many lives by turning in to natural
disaster. India has faced many natural disaster like Flood, landslides, storm,
tsunamis etc, but here is a question – Are these man made disaster? Who should
be held responsible for it?

Chennai has experienced many disaster in last couple of years. Many people left
homeless, jobless, starved to death and other problems that is beyond imagination.
Recently, A cyclone hit in west Bengal. The government estimated that over
21,560 sq km has been affected including millions of lives. 30 to 40 People living
in same room to survive this natural calamity. Now, if we look in to the reason
that why this disaster happened in the first place there is only one answer i.e.
Encroaching of water bodies.
