Knowing that a healthy life style is linked to one’s obstinate determination to work out, it is

ludicrous to assume that people of all ages can achieve it without moving their bodies and
without paying attention to their diet. Whereas it is undeniable that campaigns involving
famous sportspeople may be useful, I believe that having more sports facilities play a far
greater role in influencing people to take up sport.

First and foremost free or cheap sport centres encourage people to take up sport. As a
matter of fact, it is proven that more and more people of all ages commit to sport when
sports facilities get cheaper or offer big discounts. For instance, obese middle-aged women
who happen to be poor as well, may take into consideration affordable sports services at
the point in time when the price of tickets go down and if they rise again they quit. It is for
this reason that many people give up exercising suddenly.
Secondly the increasing number of sports facilities motivates people to work out more. Local
authorities are indeed oblivious of the fact that it is their duty to finance more and more
sports facilities. If proper measures were taken, for example building at least one sport
centre in every neighborhood, there would be a substantial impact on the habits and
routines associated with low levels of physical activity.

Some might be under the misapprehension that famous sportspeople encourage the masses
to have an active lifestyle. Nothing could be more wrong because the intransigent nature of
some of the old , even of the youth, loses them different opportunities. More than that,
social inequality is likely to lead to unwanted results and the thought of not having enough
money to keep up with an expensive healthy lifestyle may put people off.

To sum up, I hold the opinion that campaigns involving famous sportspeople may be useful
but not for everyone of all ages and I strongly believe that building cheaper and better
sports centres play a far better role to get people to sign up.
