Peace

1. God let me find joy without any pain.

2. Mom why when I am happy and smile -

3. with glee I struggle with a gnawing chain -

4. near my wrist? The scars were there a while -

5. when I let my soul faux my smile through-

6. my eyes. The scars vanish into thin air.

7. Dad shined the light as my guide for my rough-

8. times. Mom I love you, but this is not fair-

9. to dad. Bliss in the real world destroys me.

10. I smile bright to others and beam bright

11. like a diamond. But I do not feel free.

12. Folks give me joy still I’m dark as the night .

13. But , lifelike joy is merely in heaven

14. with dad. Bye world gone when I’m eleven.

1. What the problem is the person in the sonnet is having a huge problem with joy in the

real world due to their father dying , they try to be happy but they just can't be happy

without their father and without any of the problems occuring in the sonnet.

2. The volta is where it says ‘’but’’, due to the person giving up trying to be happy cause all

the problems occuring and they realize that , so they think of being with their father in

heaven .

3. The resolution is the person decided to be with their father in heaven when they turn

eleven years old.

*I’m really sorry for making you think this sonnet was my story and that I was harming

myself and I was going to kill myself. These are my poetic thoughts and not my real thoughts I

plan on doing , I’m really sorry once again for making you really worried. <3*
