Students will be able to find the baby Jesus in the maze form and make a 3D star.

Stars, forms.

4. Teaching:
A. Plan for reading the book
B. Plan for extension activity:
Read the book during circle time, then
Then give students instruction on how to find Baby Jesus in the maze and how to make the 3-D
star.
If someone were planning to visit someone in another town, we might first need to find a way of
how to get there.
1. We can use the GPS, we can get a map out and use the map as the direction
2. Today we have a maze to help us seek some one. (Show kids the maze.)
5. Closure:
Background knowledge: what did kids do during last Christmas, what do they know about the
Christmas season in USA.
Ticket out of the door:Ask kids about what they learned about Christmas in Russia.
Next time: Learn about the food, or culture in Russia during Christmas.
