Students will be able to make a daily task list and cross tasks out after they finish the tasks.

4. Teaching:
A. Plan for reading the book
B. Plan for extension activity:

Book will be read during circle time.

Children will ask questions about how they like the book and how they like the idea of crossing
out tasks to help their mind organized.
Give instructions:
1. Write down what you think you will do today and cross each task out when you finish it
to get a star sticker. As your day go through, see if you have made any changes to your
list and fail to cross out some tasks out?

5. Closure:

Ticket out the door: How did you feel when you couldn’t finish something on the list? Were you
able to put it off to tomorrow?
Background knowledge: Did you ever see your parents cross out the items on their shopping list?
