Ecology and Conservation
The Plant Taxonomy Skills for Ecology and Course breakdown
Conservation course is organised by the
Weeks 1–3 Weeks 4 & 5
Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, in collaboration
(4–22 July) (15–26 August)
with the University of Ghana. The course runs
in a hybrid online/in-person format, with three ONLINE GHANA
weeks of online content and two weeks of Taxonomy Herbarium
practical learning, including the development Nomenclature Taxonomy project
of a taxonomy project in the herbarium of Accra, Conservation One-day field trip
and a one-day field trip to Shai Hills (Ghana).
Application requirements
Who is it for? You must be:

What does the course include?

applicants will receive financial support to cover
transport, accommodation and visa expenses for
travel to Ghana, and necessary equipment will be
provided by the organisation (laptops, hand lenses
and bibliography).
