Habit 1 Discussion Reflection

Overcoming setbacks was an important point in the discussion. From the 7 Habits book

overcoming setbacks is not anything bad but just a way to turn that into a triumph. Having a

set-back my led to other opportunities depending what the situation may be. Such as practicing

twice has harder to achieve the struggle. Therefore having setbacks are not always the end but

just a way for other success.

I need to be more proactive in being positive. Either during test or a physical movement i

tend to overthink and doubt myself during the time. When using the proactive language there

would be a less chance of giving up and taking the easy way out the of problem. Such as golf I

overthink how far I show hit the ball with my driver essicappy if the course is only a 3 par. If the

course is a short distance the doubt myself that I am not going to make it close to the green. Once

I have tried using proactive language there will be a change in my thinking.
