Here are a few reminders for this week:

Tuesday May 17th is the last day to order the May Munch a Lunch.

Another deadline this week is the Yearbook orders are due by Friday, May 20th.

I am sending home a parent note and permission slip Monday, May 16th in your child's agenda. The
green permission slips are due back by Thursday, May 19th, the sooner the better.

A number of students have also mentioned they will be absent on Thursday due to the long
weekend. If you could please email or write a note in your child's agenda so we can note it as an
excused absence.

Friday, May 20th - NO SCHOOL due to Professional Learning Day for staff
Monday, May 23rd – NO SCHOOL due to the Victoria Day Holiday.

Current Academic Focus:

• Language Arts - writing our mini storybooks.
• Math - time equivalency and working with calendars, then measuring with rulers
• Social Studies we are working on studying the culture of Tunisia.
• Art – Plasticine animals in their habitat and Tunisian doors
