ROOF TILES

 Roof tiles of different types, such as, shall be stacked on regular platform as far as
possible under cover in proper layers and in tiers and they shall not be dumped in heaps.
 Tiles of different quality, size and thickness shall be stacked separately to facilitate easy
removal for use in work.
 Tiles when supplied by manufacturers packed shall be stored on as same condition.
 The box or cartoons shall be opened one at a time as and when required for use.
 Roof tiles are generally supplied in cartons which shall be handled with care to avoid
breakage.
 It is preferable to transport these at the site on platform trolleys.
