As a human being, communication plays a vital role in our everyday living. Through
communication we may able to talk and understand others, same with the people around
us. They may able to understand us and we able to express ourselves through
communication.

NARRATIVE REPORT

There is a conversation taken in a small cottage where I nearly stand by. Two girls named Aling
Ligaya and Aling Marie. Aling Ligaya said that their neighbor’s daughter might be pregnant. She
said this in a verbal way. She told Aling Marie that she saw her neighbor’s daughter so many
times wearing an oversized shirt. Aling Marie was shocked, however she believed what Aling
Ligaya told her about her neighbors’ daughter. But while Aling Ligaya's talking, there were few
children playing nearby. It creates noise that makes Aling Marie irritates while listening to Aling
Ligaya's story. That's why she told the children to go away and find another place to play. There
is a two type of communication occur because there is a connection between the sender and the
receiver. Also, a good communication process was taken place. Because while the one is talking
the other one was attentively listening.

METACOGNITION

1. What were your misconception about this topic prior to taking up this lesson?

- I thought this topic might be an easy course. Because it’s pertains to communication
which we really familiar. However, so many things to be learned in this subject. In fact,
confusion with this new lesson sometimes occur because I think I still have a lot of things
to learned more about this communication topic, how to apply it properly in daily living
and learn the proper usage of each words that we construct and deliver to the listeners or
the person who we are talking with. Therefore, I still have to go deeper with this new
lesson to really familiarize and understand well the content of this subject.
 2. What new or additional learning have you gained from the lesson in terms of skills,
content and attitude?
- I learned that communication is an essential thing that we have to apply, practice and
enhance towards ourselves. Because I know that some of us had a problem with the
proper usage of the words in communicating. Therefore, I think through this lesson I’m
going to learn a lot specially the content inside of it. I believe this subject helped me to
improved language communication and taught me to be aware of the words I’m going to
use.
