Data Gathering Techniques

The researchers asked the permission from the principal in

San Ildefonso National High School to conduct the research

through a letter. Upon the approval of the principal, the

researchers will personally distribute the questionnaires to the

target respondents.

The questionnaire is composed of two parts. The first part

will determine the budgeting practices of the students and the

second part will determine the financial attitude of the

students.

The variables of the study were described through questions

measured using Likert Scale and multiple choice questions. The

researchers used questionnaires which consisted of statements

that will be answered by the respondents by putting a check in

the item of their choice and by using the scales that follows: 1.

Not at all for me, 2. Somewhat not true for me, 3. True for me,

4. Very true for me.
