Autobiography

My name is Ia Jane C. Gabo and I was born on the 12 th of

September, 2006 My parents My younger brother’s name is I
also have a half brother and sister from my mother’s firt
marriage. Their names are. Both my grandfathers have already
passed away. My grandmother on my mother side lives far away
therefore, I can only visit her seldomly but my grandmother on
my father’s side lives at Alae. Whenever I get the chance, I
would always visit and bond with her and sometimes, if my
parents allow me, I will sleep over at her place for a few days.

My father works for Del Monte Philippines as a Lead Mechanic

while my mother works also for Del Monte as quality control and
packaging personnel. I had a fun and normal childhood.
Sometimes me and my brother would sneak out for a bicycle ride
and would get scolded upon returning home. The place we live
has a spacious plaza covered with well-trimmed grass where we
often play after school. But my favorite memory of my childhood
is when we go out to the beach. While most people would
immediately begin to eat the foods, they brought upon reaching
the beach, I on the other hand would go straight to the seawater
to wet my feet. Because it somehow brings some excitement
having to feel the seawater and sand under my feet.

Now, I am a grade 10 student who is giving her best so that

someday I would be able to achieve my dreams and make my
parents proud. Not just this, but also to have a better life so least
I will be able to repay my parents for all the sacrifices they have
made for us.
