F Series High Brightness MKIII Colour Wheel

The High Brightness MKIII Colour Wheel is available on Barco F Series single chip projectors*¹.

High Brightness (MKIII RGBC + W): For brightness critical

applications. Bright images combined with good primary and secondary
colours.

Typical applications: digital signage, education, meeting rooms and

large venue.

Why?
Average 17.5%*² more brightness (lumens) output than the High Brightness MKII colour wheel

How?
Increased white segment size, low F# optical engine aperture and innovative algorithms (Texas
Instruments and VIDI pulsing).

Considerations
- Increased brightness.
- Colour wheels with white segments can cause artefacts when used in conjunction with
digital blending. Barco recommend the VizSim Bright colour wheel for digitally blended
multi-channel applications.

*¹ - F32 SXGA+ projectors are available with the High Brightness MKII colour wheel only. The High
Brightness MKII colour wheel is not as ‘bright’ as the High Brightness MKIII colour wheel.
- F22 projectors (SXGA+, 1080 and WUXGA) are available with the High Brightness MKII colour
wheel only. F22 projectors use High Brightness MKIII algorithms to boost colour fidelity.
