ARKI QUIZ BEE MECHANICS ( STUDENT EDITION)

( JUNE 9, 2021)
1. The Quiz Bee Competition is open to any bona fide students of the
Department of Architecture.
2. The sections per year level are required to send their representatives in
pair.
3. The facilitators will provide a group chat for communication purposes.
4. The Quiz Bee will take place via google meeting and the facilitator will
provide the link before the competition.
5. Entering google meet will start at 8:45 am.
6. The Quiz Bee will start at 9:00 a.m. and will end at 12:00 p.m.
7. There shall be two (2) phases for each level: Elimination Phase and Final
Phase.
8. In the Elimination Phase, each year level has a particular topic and whoever
wins will enter the final phase and will be the representative of their year
level.

1st year: Theory of Architecture

2nd year: History of Architecture
3rd year and 4th year: Building Technology
5th year: Professional Practice

9. In the final Phase or the Championship Round, the topics are; Famous
Architects, Dictums, Pritzker Price Awardees, Vernacular Terms of
Construction Tools and Materials, and the Famous Buildings.
10. The awarding of E – Certificates and announcement of winners will be on
June 11, 2021
