The Diagram illustrates that the changes in the mode of transport chosen by
travelers in Australia from 1960-1990.
There are four modes of transports are chosen by travelers are Train, Bus, Car, and
Bike.
In 1960, there were a total of 30% of people choose to travel by train which was
the highest in the year, where only 6%
of people used bikes for traveling which was lowest. The number of percentages of
travelers who used Bus and car
for traveling is 25% and 10%.
In the year 1970, the percentage of people who used to travel by train and Bus has
decreased and came at
20% and 10% which was the lowest in the year. Besides that, The number of people
who use cars and Bikes for transport has
increased and came at 30% and 25% which was the highest in the year.
In 1980 and 1990, the number of travelers who chose cars and Bikes for transport
has increased above 40% in both years.
the number of percentage of traveler who used car and bike for the transport were
equal which was 50% each, wherein 1980,
the percentage for the car were 40% and 45% for the bike.
the no. of the percentage of traveler who used train and Bus has increased in the
year 2000 as compared to the year 1960 to 1990.
15% of travelers used other option to travel and only 10% of travelers used bike in
the year 2000 became the lowest
percentage of transport mode. There were 30% of travelers who used car for the
transportation which was the highest in the year 2000.
overall, In 1980 and 1990, travelers used more cars and bikes compared to other
years. and in 2000, the use of buses and trains
has increased.
