Art About Agriculture urges artists to explore the visual aspects of agriculture, the
science and practice that nourishes human life. It aims to increase awareness and enjoyment
of food and fiber production, particularly among those who are unfamiliar with agriculture.
As an art, it encompasses knowledge of how to do farm activities skillfully, but it does not
always involve a grasp of the concepts that underpin agricultural practices. Agricultural art
enriches our culture in the Philippines when it comes to farming, and the Philippines' crop
production, particularly sugarcane, palay or rice, coconut, and bananas, was among the
highest nationwide and was also among the top export products due to its terrain and
tropical climate condition.
