Ct Value (E Target): 19

Interpretation: Negative Results indicate: SARS-CoV-2 is not detected in the given sample.
Positive Results indicate: SARS-CoV-2 is detected in the given sample.
Inconclusive Results indicate: Inconclusive. This could be due to low viral load
in a sample.A repeat sample is recommended in such cases.
Remarks:
The test is approved by ICMR, India (Registration No: DPMDLN).
The PCR run is validated by RnaseP, Positive and Negative controls.
Negative results do not exclude COVID-19 & should not used as the sole basis for treatment or other patient management decisions.
Optimum specimen type and timings of peak viral levels during infections caused by SARS-CoV-2 have not been
determined. Collection of multiple specimen (Types & time points) from the same patient may be necessary to detect the virus.
A negative result in a single upper respiratory tract sample does not rule out SARS-CoV-2 infection.Hence in such cases
a repeat sample should be sent.
Lower respiratory tract samples like Sputum, BAL, ET aspirate are appropriate samples especially in severe and progressive lung
disease.
Kindly consult referring Physician / Authorized hospitals for appropriate follow up.
Note: By default age1 (one) is taken by software in the reports, if no age data is available or provided by the patient.
