Topic: There should be no gender-specific jobs, education and responsibilities


General Purpose: To persuade
Specific Purpose: To persuade my audience that gender-specific jobs, education and
responsibilities should be left behind.
Central Idea/Thesis Statement: discuss the problems with gender-specific jobs, education
and responsibilities, propose ways to against gender-specific jobs, education and
responsibilities and explain the advantage.

1. INTRODUCTION

A. Show video of women being oppressed


B. According to the World Bank, only 6 countries which are Belgium, Denmark,
France, Latvia, Luxembourg and Sweden give women equal legal work right
as men. It is clear to see that women in this world are facing unstable
oppression in their careers. Perhaps females around you are facing this
situation too.
C. I have researched this topic
D. Today, I would like to discuss the problems with gender-specific jobs,
education and responsibilities, propose ways to against gender-specific jobs,
education and responsibilities and explain the advantage.

Let us start by discussing the problems.

A. Gender-specific jobs, education and responsibilities are a problem.


1. .According to the 2020 Women-in Business report, there are only 29%
of women in senior management positions worldwide.

2. According to UNESCO estimation, there are 129 million girls are out
of school. More aggressively, girls are 2.5 times more possibly to be
out of school than boys.
3. Because of gender stereotyping, women are facing a glass ceiling and
lack of education opportunities than men. Females are also human,
they should enjoy basic human rights just like males.

Now we had seen that gender-specific jobs, education and responsibilities are a problem,

B. Provide equal opportunities


1. Stop gender stereotypes and provide fairness in education, workplace
and responsibilities. Provide equal chances as males to showcase
themselves.
2. According to OECD 2019, girls outperform boys in reading on the
PISA examination.
3. It is clearly seen that females will have the same performance as males
even more if the public gave more opportunities to females.

So, now you are aware of the solution. Let us discuss the advantage.

C. There are several advantages to this solution


1. By providing the same chances for females in education, working
environment and responsibilities, people will realise the capabilities of
women.
2. There will be fewer stereotypes about women being weak and women
will not be facing gender-specific responsibilities. That is 129 million
girls could continue their studies.
3. Imagine a world without gender responsibilities, everyone is living
harmonious and has no traditional stereotypes.
