My name “Christine Joie” was given to me by my mom’s aunt.

My mom originally planned to name me

Kate Ashley after her favorite brand “Kate Spade”. But later, they finalized on the name “Christine Joie”.
According to the letter my mom wrote me for our 10th grade retreat, it’s meaning is “Joy in Christ”. As
for the spelling of my name “Joie”, it was from the French phrase “Joie de Vivre” which means joy of
living because my mom doesn’t want to use the common spelling of “Joy” as my name is common
enough already.
