I am a high school senior at El Capitan and future Merced College Graduate. I have goals after graduation, such as
serving in the Peace Corps. The desire to learn and grow has driven me throughout my four years at El Capitan. My
teachers have recognized me as someone who is goal oriented and ready to put in the effort.

I consider myself to be a confident, level-headed individual. I have also been told I am very considerate of others. As
a member of multiple school involvement groups, I make sure no one is left behind. I currently serve in my El
Capitan’s School Site Council as one of two representatives of the student body at large. I received the highest
number of votes for the position.

In my first year, I displayed ambition by being the first student in my Digital Media class to receive an Adobe Premiere
Certification. I also lead several class groups during projects, readings, etc. My teachers approved of my
comprehension and leadership skills.
