SUBJECT : SWR on the strangling incident that transpired along House of Hope,
Santa Maria, Pagadian City.

DATE : May 4, 2022

1. Respectfully submitted herewith the Special Written Report on the strangling incident that
transpired along House of Hope, Santa Maria, Pagadian City.

2. That on or about 10:00 AM of May 4, 2022, personnel responded to a call for police response
from CMMC Hospital informing that there was a dead body brought by the personnel of Rescue
CDRRMO to their hospital. The body was identified as Jessa del Puerto, female, 18 years old,
single, with delayed mental development, and a resident of Santa Maria, Pagadian City. The said
body arrived at about 09:55 AM of May 4, 2022 but was declared dead on arrival by Dr. Agas.
According to the investigation Berta Bagud Liquid, female, 19 years old, single, a resident of
Santa Maria, Pagadian City and Mary Rose Sabal Flores, 17 years old, resident of Santa Maria,
Pagadian City connived each other and strangled the victim's neck with the use of a strip of cloth
from a blanket and while the victim was lying, they pulled the cloth and kicked the victim that
resulted to her untimely death. The motive was believed to be hatred and self-gain.
