Concept: RLE 116 = Care of client with problems in nutrition, gastrointestinal, metabolism, and
endocrine, perception and coordination
Date: April 6, 2022
Clinical Instructor: APRIL JHON ISAGON RN
Summary of experience:
April 6, 2022, we had a meeting through google meet and have our Return
demonstration on the small volume enema which was followed with the RBS. It was started
with the demonstration through our respected patients at home and was followed by the
interaction of the clinical instructor who asked some questions to answer.
Reflection:
Cleansing enema and RBS are the common nursing procedures performed in the
hospital. It is important that we know and master these kinds of procedure for us to deliver the
best care for our patients.
In my journey through this return demonstration enable me to perform the enema and
RBS in a clinical-liked setting. I was able to visualize and feel the way we interact to the patients
as well as we explain the particular procedures to them. In this way, we were able to obtain
techniques and hints on the proper ways of doing this.
Overall, this was a fruitful experience, especially as we practice our profession as a nurse
someday. As we go along this journey, we will be bringing those knowledge that we gained in
this experience.
