PRESIDENTIAL SPEECH 2

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, My name is Yadiel Díaz and I will be running for

President of the United States in representation of the Republican Party. I want to start off by

saying that The United States of America has been through a lot, we overcame slavery, we

overcame segregation, we have advanced in many aspects, but there are many things that have to

be solved. I am here to tell you that there is always a solution.

The first thing I will do if I am elected as the President of the United States is that I will

establish and restore our country's relationship with Iraq, Iran, Russia, and North Korea. I believe

in peace, war needs to be stopped, let’s solve our differences in a more diplomatic and

understanding way, there is no need for unnecessary blood to be spilled. I am tired of seeing

people die because of a nation’s conflicts, I am tired of seeing our people die because things can

be handled differently. We can make a difference even when the world is against us. As

president, I want to set footprints that will mark the present and the future of our nation. I want

people to remember us as a generation of diplomacy, a generation of respect, a generation with

ethic, and most importantly a generation that believes in peace. As Jimi Hendrix once said,

‘‘When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace.’’

I am also aware of the economic problems that we have right now, and I will take action

to help create more employment opportunities, for those who are in need, because we all deserve

a chance to thrive even when things get hard, and I will also handle the International trade. I have

plans to end with the economic recession for a better economy in the future.

I strongly believe in God and how he created everyone and everything with a purpose, I

might not know what your purpose is, but one thing I know for sure, a nation that is based on

God’s principles and on biblical principles is a nation that will be successful. In proverbs 16:3 of

the New Living translation says, ‘‘Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will

succeed.’’ If we act according to God, then God will help us reach whatever we set our minds to,

if it glorifies him.

To conclude, John Adams once said, ‘‘If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn

more, do more and become more, you are a leader.’’ I truly believe that I have the qualities of a

leader. Today I stand here, not because I am better, but because I am like every single one of you.

Today I am here as someone who has been through a lot, someone who has seen the same things

that you have seen, someone who has experienced the same things that you have experienced. I

am here as part of the Republican Party, I believe in life, I believe in progress, and I believe in

God. Thank you for your time, God bless you all, and God bless America.
