Firstly, I will define database management system: this is the we way collect, store,

share, ascribe data into the computer system

.

1.
A. Well organized database management system will help enhance organizational ability
to access data, which in turn allows visibility and sharing.
B. A database management system acts a data warehouse for a company’s payroll, order ,
etc
C. Database system acts as an interface between application and physical data
D Data base management system separate logical and physical data .
E. data base management system allows upgrade of data.

1. Data inconsistency: this is when same attributes contains different values. For
instance a customer has multiple email addresses , which makes it difficult o
determine which email to use
2. Data redundancy: this is the duplication of data. When different department of an
institution like: course advisor, administrative department, financing department
etc having same name, student ID, email in multiple files.
3. Lack of flexibility: when data is not accessible. For instance, when administrative
department is unable to share data with financing department
4. Poor security: when data keep appearing in many places.
5. Lack of data sharing: since data cannot be shared, with other department, then
there will be no availability.

3.

By ensuring that database management system falls in place. Having a database

management system will help control duplicating data in multiple files and also have a
centralized data. It will help separate files and duplicated data due to poor security. It will
also solve the problem of eliminating data inconsistency and uncoupling data and
program. With all these, will be able to solve traditional file limitation.
