WHAT I LEARNED FROM RESISTOR DECODING?

In this lesson, I learned about RESIS RESISTOR DECODING, and I discovered that
when using a standard four band resistor, the first two bands represent the two
most important digits of the resistor. A weight value is calculated in the third band by
multiplying the two significant numbers by 10. The resistor's tolerance is represented
by the final band.
WHAT IS THE IMPORTANCE OF THIS TOPIC TO ME AS AN STE STUDENT?
The acronym STE stands for Science, Technology, and Engineering, which has a lot of
meaning just by itself. When we were in 7th grade, we covered the fundamentals of this
topic. It was not, however, explained in a clear manner. I understand everything better than
before now that I'm in 10th grade and a lot wiser. For us, this is a brand-new and
enlightening topic. To add, it will be a very important information if a student is preparing to
take up a college course relating to this.
