ABOUT THE ROLE


You are about to join a world-class recruitment team working for international clients.
This role is called Recruitment Specialist – Screener.

WHY IS THIS ROLE IMPORTANT?


Because a lot of candidates apply for our clients’ job vacancies and we need to screen
their resumes, discuss their experience and competencies, and identify if they are a good
match to particular vacancies or not.

TASK EXAMPLES
• Call candidates and follow-up with prospective candidates.
• Screen candidates based on pre-de ned criteria.
• Write a brief assessment report for each candidate for the client.

HOW DO WE KNOW YOU DO YOUR JOB WELL?


• You screen IT candidates during audio/video calls.
• You prepare high-quality submission notes for the clients.
• Some of the candidates you submit got hired by the clients.

COMPENSATION
• Fixed monthly salary between 700 and 2,000 EUR gross based on your past IT
recruitment experience (700 EUR if no prior experience and 2,000 EUR in case you have
several years of relevant IT recruitment experience, uent English, and tech-savviness).

• Plus a generous bonus for each candidate hired by the client

CONTRACT
• Part-time or Full-time (we can start with part-time and evolve to full-time)
• Freelance agreement (we can help you set it up if you need to)

TOOLS WE USE
If you don’t already have experience in using these tools, you will need to be able to
demonstrate your ability to rapidly master them:

• Slack – our primary communication tool


• Zoom – how we run our online meetings
• Google Apps – online documents on Google Drive, i.e. Google Sheets, Google Docs
• Zoho Recruit – our primary ATS (applicant tracking system)

HOW DO WE WORK?
You’ll be joining this high-performance team and are expected to perform at your best,
continuously improve, and grow professionally. This is not any kid’s recreational camp
where you can hide and slack off.
You’ll report your progress and KPI daily on Slack.
We’ll teach you everything you need to know to succeed in your new role.
And we’ll do our best to support you to hit your KPIs… so you can earn solid bonuses!

2. SUBMIT YOUR ASSIGNMENT

One of our clients is looking for a Fullstack JavaScript Developer. You received a CV of a
candidate—Filippos—who could be a good match but you need to call him and double
check it. Follow these steps:
• Call Filippo’s phone number +44 759 288 5943 via WhatsApp (free).

• Filippo’s timezone: Greece, available 9 AM - 7 PM local time.


• If he does not pick up, call again later or send a WhatsApp message to ask for a
suitable time slot.
• First, introduce yourself:

• “Hi, this is _______________ (your name). I’m calling from the Global Talents Hub
regarding the FullStack JavaScript Developer position. Is it now good time to ask a few
questions to see if you’re a good t for this wonderful opportunity?”
• Second, ask Filippos candidate pre-de ned screening questions. Take brief notes to
capture the candidate’s answers.

• Do you have at least 5 years of Fullstack work experience?


• Have you used Node.js in production? If yes, what was the project about?
• Have you ued Symfony or Laravel in production? Which one?
• Have you worked with PHP for at least 2-3 years?
• What blogs do you read to follow React’s most recent development best practices?
• Have you used AWS or GCP cloud in your previous project? If so, which one?
• Have you worked in an Agile team? What methodology have you used?
• Third, thank the candidate for their time and wrap it up.
• Clean up your notes after the call and create a screening report from them.
