1. Based on the article about understanding normal development of adolescent sexuality,

make a reaction paper about what influences sexuality?
 We all know that sexuality is a confusing situation, part of being adolescence and it is a
natural drive that’s with you from birth. It is psychological and sociological
representation of self and orients a person’s attraction to others. At this stage you become
more open minded about sexual. There are a lot that influence in sexuality, especially our
family, friends, culture, religious background, media, and your peers that shape your
attitudes toward sex, the way we dress up ourselves, how we communicate to others, and
how to act according to our personality. It starts in puberty stage were you are more
conscious, and start being independent person, there are times that the parents and their
children can’t meet their perceptions, because once you are in the process of adolescence
and your human sexuality will develop, your perceptions will also change and develop to
become more independent. As you become an adult, your own experiences further
influence your sexuality.

2. What is the role of your family with regards to your understanding about sexuality, sexual
identity and sexual orientation?
 We believe that parents should play the primary role in imparting to their children social,
cultural and religious values regarding intimate and sexual relationships. The role of the
family is being an educator at this stage of adolescence, it’s about giving sex education
and socialization about the things that are likely to happen just to have extensive
knowledge. Sex education should promote youth dialogue about sexual values with
parents and in religious, cultural and social organizations, while providing the skills
training and factual information that all adolescents need. But all in all your guidance is
the most important thing that you can do for the safety of the youth especially your child
so that you can give a better future to him/her.
