We are midway through our Social Studies unit on Global Inequality.

Students have been

practicing their vocabulary words in class, and many would benefit from practicing at home.
There are 15 words and they can be found on the class website: Homework Help – Mrs.
DeFord's Class (wordpress.com). Our first quiz will be next Thursday, May 12th, and the
second one will be on Monday, May 16th.

We will be doing student-led conferences this spring. These will take place on Tuesday, May
17th and Thursday, May 19th, from 3-4pm. This is an opportunity for students to guide you
through their work, and what they have been learning. The visits will be in 15 minute blocks,
with up to 5 families per block.
