The manager should change his way of dealing with the tasks.

He made some
mistakes that affected his work.
Firstly, he should be more organized. In the presented situation, he spent over
half an hour looking for an important contract that was hidden under a huge pile
of documents on his desk. Also, he needs to work on respecting his deadlines
and managing his tasks. It is very important for a manager to be responsible and
aware of his activities.
Secondly, he should improve the job performance, because some of the
employees don’t do their job well, for example he couldn’t reach his accountant
Julia to check some details he needed for the contract.
Thirdly, he should not panic and try calm down when stressful situations
occur, because one of the most important skill that a manager needs to have is
being able to work under pressure.
If I were him, I would try to be more patient with people and finish up all my
tasks one by one, because multitasking can reduce the quality of work. Also, in
this case, the manager left his tasks until the last minute, which is a big mistake,
because a good time management is essential for dealing effectively with the
objectives.
