Opening : Hello Mr.

My name is Elsa Ainun Innayah, you can call

me Elsa. I want to explain the classification fracture. Ok, There are three
types of classifications according to Wiarto (2017) including closed
fracture, open fracture, fracture complexity. The type of fracture is based
on radiological lines or fractures (communitive fractures, obliq fractures,
segmental fractures, impact fractures, spiral fractures)

CLASSIFICATION

According to Wiarto (2017) fractures can be divided into three types namely
closed fractures, open fractures, and fracture complexity. The following is an
explanation of the three types of fractures above :

1. Closed fracture is a type of fracture that is not accompanied by a wound on

the outside surface of the skin and only causes swelling in the area around
the fracture.
2. Open fracture is a condition of broken bones so that part of the bone is
associated with external air, usually accompanied by a lot of bleeding.
Open fractures can make bones stick out.
3. Fracture complexity occurs in two conditions, namely in the extremity of
the fracture while in the joint dislocation.

The types of fractions based on their radiology :

1. Transverse fractures are fault lines perpendicular to the long axis of the
bone.
2. Communitive fracture is the breakdown of the integrity of the tissue
consisting of two fragments.
3. Oblique fracture ie the fracture line makes an angle.
4. Segmental fractures are two adjacent fractures in one bone.
5. Impaction fractures are two bones pounding bones.
6. Spiral fracture is the result of limb torsion.
