PASADO SIMPLE / PAST SIMPLE: se utiliza para acciones que comienzan y terminan en el pasado

Para conjugar los verbos regulares:

Agregar al final:
-ED

-D: verbos que terminen con "e"

-IED: verbos que terminen con consonante + y, se reemplaza la y por el ied

Afirmativo: Sujeto + verbo en pasado

She cried yesterday

Negativo: Sujeto + Auxiliar (did not/didn't) + verbo en infinitivo

She didn't cry yesterday

Interrogativo: Auxiliar (did) + sujeto + verbo en infinitivo

Did she cry yesterday?

Adverbios de frecuencia: Se ubican al principio o al final de la oracion

-yesterday - ayer

- last ... (week, month, year, etc) - ultima o pasada

- ago (a year ago, five days ago) - hace

- Fechas

Afirmativo: Sujeto + was/were (verbo to be)


She was at school

They were at school

Negativo: Sujeto + was not/wasn't/Were not/weren't

She was not at school

They were not at school

Interrogativo: Was/were + sujeto ... ?

Was she at school? No she, wasn't/Yes, she was

Were they at school? No, they were not/Yes, they were
