Testimonial Narrative

When I register as a voter I was just thinking what if I shouldn’t register to the
COMELEC what I have in mind is that the percentage will be added is very little even if I
vote, but I read an article that every vote counts and everyone's right to vote for who they
think deserves to be elected. When I go to the COMELEC it was about 8 in the morning
and the line is so long even if its only morning.
I thought that deciding which candidate that I will vote is easy but I was wrong. At
first I have a better candidate on my mind but after what I read and watch on online
platforms I don’t know if I should believe what I see or not. Everything I see online is pure
lies I no longer know what is right or wrong. It is true what they say that there are people
who will do anything just to get a seat in government and escape their debts. One of them
is that they are changing the history about martial law because they it is a good case and
what else are they saying about it that is pure lies that they will spread on various online
platforms such as tiktok and youtube that young people today will believe. On the last few
months’ I was planning to go to VP Leni’s rally but because of the tight schedule and the
place is very far so I don’t go to any of her rally but I watch her live streams so I can
support her. On the day of the election there are so many people even if we have a
pandemic and it only means that many Filipinos want vote for their candidate. When the
results came I was so shock that the gap is very far and I just pinch myself thinking that
it was just a bad dream but I was wrong and this is the reality. My mouth is wide open due
to the shock I just can’t believe that many people choose the wrong path they said that the
martial law is good when his father’s term but it’s HIS father. HIS father is smart not like
him, he’s not even attending in the debate what about now that he is our president he
probably won’t attending the SONA.
But even if the results seem deceived we just have to accept the truth and be happy
for the results and hope that nothing’s going to happen that not good to our country and
its people.
