However, there are several maintenance checks that, if done on a regular basis, provide extended service and performance. Lubrication Motor Lubricate each bearing on the motors once every operating month (750 hours) per the folowing instructions. Use only Kluber Isoflex® Topas NBS? grease (PIN 46AS) for operation in cold Ambient tomporatures of -20°F to +50°F (29°C to +10°C). You may use either NBS2 or NB162 for ambient temperatures of 50°F to 100°F (10°C to 38°C). For hot ambient temperatures above 100°F (38°C). you must use isoflex Topas NB152 grease (PIN 4BAY), Using any grease other than Kluber isoflex® Topas wil void tno motor warranty. Clean the vibrator case around the grease plug with a clean shop towel Remove the grease plug from the vibrator housing Install 1/8 in, NPT grease fiting (P/N 338) into the vibrator housing. Always use a new grease fiting. Even small amounts of another grease may cause a negative reaction with the Isoflex grease. Install §.7 grams (0.2 02) of grease with a grease gun into each grease fitting. 5.7 grams equals 4 shots from a 400 gram grease gun. 5. NPT grease fitings PIN 338. ‘One 400 gram tube of Isofex Topas grease PIN 46AS, (One tube can lubricate 36 motors.) (One set of lubrication instructions P17208, (One grease gun PIN AGAU. (4 shots equals §.7 grams / bearing.) For High Ambient Temperature Conditions Lubrication kit P/N 7221H ‘Two 1/8 in. NPT grease fitings PIN 338. (One 400 gram tube of Isoflex Topas grease PIN AGAY. (One tube can lubricate 35 motors.) (One set of lubrication instructions PI7208. One grease gun PIN 46AU. (4 shots equals 5.7 grams / bearing ) Maintenance Checks Component Tasks Screen wedge(s) Check to make sure all six are in good condition (Check atter opening and closing for a positive Gravel or hard cutings lodged in the valve seat area may prevent a postive seal and allow mud bypassing Clean out any solids buildup that may cause the Bypass valve ‘Skid compartment vibrating basket to bottom out or interfere with sereening Screens Check for torn screens. Repair or replace if necessary. ‘Check the crown rubbers and Mat seals for ‘Screen cushions and seals damage or wear, Replace as neaded, Nuts, bolts, fasteners Ensure all nuts, bolts, and lock washers are in place and tght, particularly on the motors General operation Listen for any loud or unusual noise, particularly bearing squeal or any metal-o-metal contact.
