Hello, I am applying for a position at your company. I want to be an intern at your company to
learn how to interact in a professional environment, and to learn more about technology. I am
interested in this internship because it could provide me with experience, skills, confidence, and
an understanding of what type of career I want. All of which will be helpful in the future.

I am currently in an AP computer science class, and I volunteered in my school’s 8th grade

orientation. I have also taken robotics classes in middle school. My time in the robotics class has
taught me to work with a group of people and by myself. My time in the robotics class and my
AP computer science class has let me acquire knowledge of technology. Lastly, I have gained the
skill of organization during the 8th grade orientation.

During my time in the robotics class, some of the robots that were built in that class went to
competitions. The class was divided into two teams.The robots faced off against another
school's/group’s robot .Each team had to acquire points. Whoever had more points won the
match. There were some restrictions imposed upon us. This shows that I can work with others
even though there are restrictions and deadlines. Another time in that class, the teams were
preparing for a competition. They were fixing their robots and discarding parts that they didn’t
need. I used some of the discarded parts and built my own robot. This shows that I can also work
by myself. Lastly, I am currently in an AP computer science class. I am taking this class because
I want to learn more about technology, and I want to gain more knowledge.

I am a good match for this job because I am a team player,I can work with restrictions, I want to
learn, I can be organized, and I will also put a lot of effort into my job.
