After Lazada and Tokopedia, Ramayana Opens Outlets at Shopee
Currently, Ramayana has 117 offline outlets spread over 63 cities in Indonesia. Fashion retail
company Ramayana launched an online store on Shopee . Previously, Ramayana had opened
digital outlets in two other marketplaces , namely Lazada and Tokopedia . Vice President
Director of PT Ramayana Lestari Sentosa Tbk Jane Melinda Tumewu said, this collaboration
is a step for the company to adapt to technological developments and customer needs. "For
us, e-commerce has developed into an important and large distribution channel," he said in a
press release, Thursday (26/4) yesterday. In line with the launch of the official online store at
Shopee, Ramayana also released an exclusive collection of Nagita Slavina x Chapter9.
Through this partnership, Ramayana believes that it can meet the fashion needs of our
customers throughout Indonesia. "Especially welcoming Ramadan," he said.
Currently, Ramayana has 117 offline outlets spread over 63 cities in Indonesia. Since 2016,
Ramayana has entered e-commerce by cooperating with Tokopedia. Then in 2017, Ramayana
collaborated with the marketplace, namely Lazada. Ramayana hopes that this collaboration
can increase sales, especially to attract millennial consumers. Shopee CEO Chris Feng said,
fashion has been one of the leading categories since the platform was first launched. He
hopes that Ramayana's presence on the Shopee platform can increase the fashion choices of
Shopee users. "Especially welcoming Ramadan, the trend of online shopping for fashion is
increasing compared to usual. This is our commitment to meet consumer needs," he said.
